The Friendship Center of Santa Barbara’s goal is to support and enhance their members' lives by focusing on their abilities, strengths, experiences, and knowledge. They recognize the inherent dignity and worth of all people, regardless of age or diagnosis, and they encourage all members to enjoy each day. They offer classes, entertainment, friendship and support, enhancing the lives of their attendees.
Who Attends Friendship Center?
- Someone with Alzheimer's Disease or other Dementia
- Someone who needs supervision during the day
- Someone with physical or mental limitations
- Someone who may be socially isolated or lonely and feels more comfortable in a supportive setting
